I Can't Wait!

Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to make a quick post about an amazing email I got recently. If you don't already know I'm involved with this website called Influenster (I have a post talking more about this so check that out). I recently got an email notifying me that I will be getting the Holiday VoxBox! Yayyyy!!! I'm so excited and I can't wait to see what I get to try out! I just wanted to give you guys a heads up so you know whats in store for the future. I know I haven't posted anything on here/Youtube for awhile however I've had some things going on that I'm trying to take care of however I hope to start posting more stuff soon!  Until then, see you soon!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Hey Everyone! Here are some more thoughts and pictures of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain sticks that I have. I really love these products and they're great for everyday use! I love how build-able the colors are and how you can get a sheer or bold lip from one product! They also have a lot of color shades available. These retail around $6.99-$7.99 which isn't bad compared to similar products on the market that cost more.

I used coupons so I got mine a little cheaper. The colors I have are Charm, Honey, Cherish, and Lovesick. I can't really point out a favorite however I do really like the natural glow I get from Cherish. The packaging is also really nice on these, I like how travel friendly they are and how I don't have to worry about the cap coming off or anything like that. The colors on the tube of each of these balms are also very true to the color in the tube.

I think they are a really good representation of what you're getting in the tube. As for the texture I these balms go on very smooth and I don't find them particularly drying. I wouldn't say the really moisture your lips but they don't dry them out either. The staying power of these is also very good, they are stains so they do tint your lips even after the balm has been wiped off. Check out my video review to see these products in action!

October Birchbox 2012!

Hey Everyone! I never got around to posting up photos for the October box so here they are in case you want a closer look!

Five samples for this month, and they're all a pretty good size too!

Essie nail polish in Powerclutch, it retails for $8 which almost covers the cost of the whole box.

Everything all lined up together. Not a bad box!

I saw several reviews of this box on Youtube and some people weren't too happy with their boxes for that month but I think I got some pretty good samples. I especially like the nail polish and the body wash from Kiehl's. The only thing I would say I don't like is the Luna bar just because I'm not a big fan but other than that I was happy. September Birchbox!

Hey Everyone!
I know that this is really late but I felt like it was worth talking about regardless! I have to say that I really found that this box had a lot of useful products in it which is always a plus. I really feel like I'm going to use everything in the box. Once in a while I find a product I know I won't use to so this box was really good in my opinion. Hey Everyone! I know its been soooo long and I wanted to just make a quick update about what's happening with this blog. I know in the past its been heavily/mostly reviews on products but I want to do something different. I want to start incorporating more inspirational makeup ideas and fashion ideas (hopefully). In short I want to make it more like my other blog, seen here: http://melfranco.wordpress.com/, even though the blogs are about two very different things. That blog is more graphic design and art related so if you're interested in that please check it out! Anyways I'm planning a lot of new things for the next couple months and I really want to work on this blog and add more to it.
